The Artist — A Lifetime of Appreciation
Throughout my life, I have always wanted to devote more time to painting. Like so many people, however, the demands of work and everyday responsibilities meant that my artistic ambitions often had to take a back seat.
Now retired, I finally have the opportunity to pursue a passion that has been with me for as long as I can remember.
For me, painting has never been about recognition, publicity or financial success. It is simply the pleasure of creating something and the satisfaction that comes from artistic expression.
By making high-quality digital representations of my paintings available, I hope to share my work with people who might otherwise never have the opportunity to see it.
I have always been a fairly private person, and retirement hasn't changed that. I wish to remain anonymous, not out of mystery, but simply because I have no desire for personal attention.
This isn't about me. It's about the shared enjoyment of art.
If one of my paintings brings a little pleasure, inspiration or beauty into someone else's life, then sharing it has been worthwhile.
